Holt’s Café Hong Kong

In collaboration with the tonychi studio design team, we focused on conceptualizing the narrative for an innovative dining destination within Rosewood Hong Kong. Drawing inspiration from Viennese tea shoppe aesthetics, as well as the artistic legacies of Mackintosh, Auto Vagner, Vienna Secession, and the nostalgic charm of tea houses from a bygone era, the concept narrative aimed to infuse sophistication and cultural richness into the space.
The envisioned dining experience, tailored exclusively for serving breakfast to hotel guests, pays homage to the historical roots of the land dating back to the late 19th century. The design narrative, meticulously crafted to capture the essence of Viennese design and global influences, seeks to create a thematic connection that aligns seamlessly with the historical significance of Holt’s Wharf. While focusing solely on the concept narrative and direction, our goal was to achieve a distinctive and memorable ambiance that harmonizes the elegance of Viennese tea shoppe aesthetics with the unique historical context of Holt’s Wharf within the Rosewood Hong Kong setting.
