Alison Chi, a passionate New Yorker with a global design background, is central to tonychi, the renowned design firm founded by her family in 1984. She began her design training early, earned a degree in communications in Paris, and completed a master’s in real estate development and hospitality at NYU. With over a decade of experience on projects like Rosewood Hong Kong and The Newbury Boston, she recently led the brand strategy for tea culture brand Pouyuenji, launching its flagship in Kyoto. As the head of Alison Chi and Company, she drives international creative collaboration and supports meaningful experiences in hospitality and lifestyle. Chi is committed to sustainable urban living, the arts, and design, advocating for creativity to enhance quality of life and human experiences.
